The Charles Page School girls soccer team (1-9, 0-3) came into their matchup with Jenks High School (7-3, 2-1) having fallen in each of their first two district games. The Lady Sandites fell 2-1 to Putnam City North (6-6, 1-4) with Madison Metcalfe scoring her first goal of the season. Enid High School (5-5, 2-1) defeated the Sandite girls as well 4-0. The woes would continue against Jenks as they fell by a final score of 9-1.

The Lady Trojans got things going early, nearly scoring in the 1st minute when a header off of a corner kick struck post. The Lady Sandite defense was able to keep the game scoreless until the 14th minute when Haley Ledford scorched a ball from well outside the box for the 1-0 advantage. A goal from Ashlynn Kitterman and a deflected own goal made the score 3-0 in favor of visiting Jenks.

The Sand Springs offense showed signs of life before the half. Megan Deshazo would get Sand Springs on the board with their lone goal in the 34th minute on a penalty kick and at the half the lead was just 3-1.

The Lady Trojans were having none of the Sand Springs comeback however, netting 6 goals in a 16 minute span before substituting, led by a brace from Senior Nayeli Perez.

The Lady Sandites will return to action on Friday when they face Westmoore High School (5-6, 2-1) at 6:00pm.
