National Guard checkpoints have been established along Highway 51 at 145th West Avenue, Town and Country Drive, and 165th West Avenue. Residents are still allowed to enter those neighborhoods. Highway 51 is now closed all the way down to 145th, even to residents of Meadow Valley.

West 17th Street is flooded in Candlestick Beach, as well as most front yards, driveways, and some homes along that street.

Continued National Guard presence at 65th West Avenue and Charles Page Boulevard. Levee is still leaking only from joints. This is still considered to be expected and not an immediate cause of concern, though the area is under voluntary evacuation. Locals are no longer allowed on top of the levee to view the waters at this location.

Travel Advisory: Highway 51 is closed both East and Westbound. Water has overtaken the roadway and it is not safe for travel. We suggest using 41st or Highway 412/64.

Candlestick Beach is consumed by the Arkansas River, waters begin to breach the subdivision at W. 14th St.

Traffic Advisory: ODOT has been forced to close Hwy 51 Eastbound at 137th W. Ave. Please detour Southbound on 137th W. Ave or make a safe u-turn and go back Westbound. Both Eastbound lanes have been overtaken by flood water.

Westbound lanes are still open from Highway 97, but may become impassable later.

Drainage ditches along Woodland Drive are full, water begins backing up into Cinema 8 parking lot.
