Sand Springs doesn't have much crime, but it never fails to have a summer murder. Thankfully, the Sertoma and Quota International Clubs are always readily available to sniff out the culprit and make some money in the process.

Each August the nonprofit organizations hold a silent auction, banquet, and murder mystery show to raise money for individuals with hearing and speech impairments. The Murder Mystery Dinner is their biggest fundraiser of the year, and it's a blast.

Participants are given a back story, clues, and the opportunity to interrogate local actors to try and guess who committed the murder.

Tickets are $35 and must be purchased in advance from
