CPHS Softball: Cameron Clemons signs with Northeastern State University

Charles Page High School senior Cameron Clemons signed a letter of intent Wednesday morning to play softball for Northeastern State University.

Clemons played third base for the Lady Sandites for four years and amassed a .269 career batting average, .353 slugging average, and .328 on-base percentage with 74 hits, 67 runs, 60 RBI, and 1 home run. She was named to the 2018 All-Regional team and received an All-District Honorable Mention.

NSU is located in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and competes in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association. The RiverHawks went 30-26 last season under sixth-year Head Coach Clay Davis. Also on the RiverHawk roster is CPHS Class of 2016 graduate Jessica Schuler.

The Lady Sandites won four-straight Regional Championships during Clemons’s career, as well as the 2018 Bixby Tournament title and 6A Academic State Titles in 2016 and 2018. They made four State Tournament appearances and one State finals appearance in 2015.
