Sand Springs Boys Soccer Coaches

Head Coach Russell Ragland took over the boys program in Week 7 of the 2023 season in an interim role and was elevated to head coach following the season. Ragland has 28 years of coaching experience, including a head coaching stint at Sapulpa High School and club experience with Highlanders Soccer Club, TSC Hurricane, and WSA. He was a midfielder and defender at Sapulpa and Northeastern State University.

Assistant coach Zach Heinen joined his alma mater in 2024 after a career as a multi-year varsity starter at defense and goalkeeper.

Assistant coach Roger Howell is in his third season with the Sandites after previous coaching stints with Claremore, Weatherford, and Cascia Hall, where his teams made two finals appearances with one State Championship. Howell played center back and wing at Sapulpa High School.
